Palette Options
I have curated these palette collections with an adhesive style in mind. I have grouped a
collection of 5 tubers based on the palette of your choosing. Within those 5 tubers will be a variety of dahlia forms, which may include a ball, formal, informal, anemone, collarette, pom, or dinner plate. All tuber palette boxes are $85 for 5 tubers before shipping. If more than one palette box is ordered, shipping will be calculated at checkout. Each of the four unique palettes will have unique group options within that palette that you are able to choose from. Each group option will be a combination of different tubers within that palette. I’m sorry, but no substitutions can be made. The options in each palette collection allow for a difference in style and design tastes, all while guaranteeing amazing cut flower producing varieties. Be on the look out for the sought after unicorn varieties sprinkled within each palette. Have your wish lists ready prior to the sale date, as they may go quickly. Good luck!
Terms & Policies of Tuber Sales
Roam & Ivy is diligent in adhering to strict sanitizing practices between cuttings during growing season, as well as during dividing. I sanitize all snips in a bleach solution, in and out of the field. The plant is continually monitored during its growing period for any sign of disease or virus. As much as I want to keep every plant in that field, that is just not reality. I cull very heavily, maybe too heavily, but I would rather be safe than sorry. I know I do not want to knowingly jeopardize the health and safety of my farm, and I would never intentionally pass that on to your farm.
Our farm is inspected and approved by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture and we hold a current Nursery Stock Distributor License in the state of Nebraska. I guarantee that your tubers will be shipped with at least one viable eye. Once you receive your order, please inspect your tubers immediately.
If you have any concerns, please email me at sales@roamandivyflowers.com within 5 days of receiving your order. At the sole discretion of Roam & Ivy, a replacement or refund may be applicable.
Please do not send messages via social media, as they may not be received.
Please be aware that once you receive your tubers, it is your responsibility to make sure they are stored properly. Roam & Ivy is not responsible for improper storage, growing conditions, pest damage, or simply neglect. Please also be aware that although our farm takes extreme measures to prevent disease, we cannot guarantee this. Some plants and tubers can be asymptomatic, and unfortunately this is not a 100% guarantee.
If a substitution needs to be made due to loss during winter storage, I will reach out to you
directly. Please note, we choose to not wash our dahlia tuber clumps after digging. This seems to help us get through winter storage without loss. However, due to this some of the tubers may be slightly dirty. As much as I would love to mail you a clean and pretty tuber, we have found it to simply be not worth the risk of storage loss in our climate.
Shipping will begin in April, weather permitting. It may take multiple weeks to process orders. Please note that Roam & Ivy can only ship to the United States.
Dahlia Tuber Tips & Tricks
Before you receive your order, please have a plan for storage. Each grow zone and. location can be entirely unique. Here at our farm we store our dahlia tubers in fine wood shavings in our cooler (a cool, dark place between 40-55 degrees F) and around 70-80% humidity. Be sure to check on your tubers at least once a week during the winter to avoid excess moisture or desiccation.
